Your data is the single most important thing in the world.

You have digital photos you cannot make copies from negatives,
music ripped from old LP's you no longer have,
videos of childhood memories finally transferred from film to VHS to digital.

Or any derivation of the above - not to mention business files, email address, phone numbers and so on.

For Hard Drives:

If the hard drive is still spinning up, then it's a good sign we can get the data off of it without too much stress.

If the drive doesn't power up at all, things are much more complicated, but it's not hopeless.

For CD's and USB Flash Drives :

Thumb drives and CD's with scratches can also be recovered to some degree, but these are very finicky.

If any of your devices are suspect, call us immediately, and do not use the device any more!

Any further use can either cause the damage to become more severe, the device to become unusable, or the data to be over written.
